Biography

Karen Clarkson began her fashion career in 1999 as an assistant in Paris, working on shoots for Citizen K, Jalouse and Elle. She later returned to London and went on to work alongside styling heavyweights Jane How, Karl Templer, Andrew Richardson and Joe McKenna on shoots for iD, Italian and French Vogue, V, W and Self-Service. She worked on shows for Stella McCartney and campaigns for Nicole Farhi, Stella McCartney/Addidas and Aquascutum.

Currently a contributing fashion editor at Icon magazine, her work has also appeared in Grazia, Esquire, Sunday Times Style and Blag. As a fashion consultant, Clarkson has collaborated with Sass & Bide, Oxfam and Firetrap.
